BioPolymer GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2001 and develops, manufactures and markets injectable implants based on hyaluronic acid. Our focus is the treatment of degenerative joint disease. Everything from formulation to filling happens at our site in Dümmer, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

- 2015First peer-reviewed study on Crespine Gel published (Bashaireh et al., Drug Design, Development and Therapy).
- 2026Twelve-month outcomes after a single injection of Crespine Gel+ published (Suppan et al., BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders).

Quality and certification
Our quality management system is certified to ISO 13485. Crespine Gel and Crespine Gel+ carry the CE marking as medical devices. Hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin, produced by biofermentation, is processed under controlled conditions; each batch is tested for endotoxins before release.

BioScience GmbH, our sister company, develops hyaluronic acid fillers for aesthetic medicine under the HYAcorp and Genefill brands. Both companies share the site in Dümmer, the ATT and CRM® technology platform and the same approach to quality. What applies to one applies to the other.
