This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking services. Fonts are served from our own hosting; no requests are made to Google Fonts or similar services.
If we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, it measures page views without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
Hosting and server logs
The website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, through its global content delivery network, including servers in the European Union. When you access the website, Cloudflare processes connection data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system, referrer) to deliver the page securely and to ward off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses are in place in addition.
Contact form and e-mail
If you contact us via the form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide (topic, name, company, country, e-mail address, telephone number, message) to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Form messages are transmitted by an e-mail delivery service acting as our processor and are stored in our mail system. We delete your data when the request has been dealt with and no statutory retention period applies.
Reports of incidents
Reports of incidents or product complaints concerning our medical devices are processed to fulfil our obligations under the Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Such reports may contain health data; we process them on the basis of Art. 9(2)(i) GDPR and retain them for the periods required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under Art. 15–21 GDPR, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
